An M. Pharm in Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance is a 2-year postgraduate program designed to train students in ensuring the quality of pharmaceutical products and processes. This program focuses on assessing the validity of processes, managing safety, developing products, and evaluating quality. It equips graduates with the expertise needed for roles in pharmaceutical manufacturing and operations, emphasizing both theoretical knowledge and practical experience. The program emphasizes maintaining high quality standards in pharmaceutical manufacturing and operations.
Students learn about Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) principles and practices, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory compliance, and documentation. Students learn about risk assessment and management techniques, as well as Quality by Design (QbD), which aims to prevent quality issues from the start. Graduates can find roles in quality control, quality assurance, production management, research and development, and regulatory affairs within pharmaceutical companies.
