Road Safety Awareness Campaign
Around 6500 students of KJEI participated along with Staff & Authorities of KJEI for the Road Safety Awareness Campaign held by Pune Police on 6th October 2016 at Golibar Maidan. Authorities present were Hon' Founder President of KJEI Mr. Kalyan Jadhav, Executive Director of KJEI Dr. Hemant Abhyankar, Principals of KJEI Institute Dr. Suhas Khot, Dr. P.M Patil and Dr. Prakash Dabir.
The Road Safety Awareness Campaign was held to give guidance on Traffic rules, Travel Safety and Safety. Shri. Kalyan Jadhav, Hon' Founder President, Dr. Hemant Abhyankar, Executive Director, KJEI instructed staff and students of KJEI, the current scenario of traffic and instructed them to follow traffic rules and regulation laid down by Government. Dr. Suhas Khot, Principal KJCOEMR gave students the Oath for strictly following Traffic & Safety Rules and contributing for Road Safety.Dr. Harish Kulkarni presented the statistical report of road accidents in India and their worrying consequences, stating youth ranging between age group of 15 to 30 years constituted 54% of the accidental deaths and that the youth should do efforts for the safety of their own.
At 11 am, All KJEI Students formed "HUMAN CHAIN" and marched from Golibar Maidan to Command Hospital (800m) holding boards and charts on Road safety.
Later, Police Officers Mr. Sawant, P.I and Mr. Ahire, P.S.Iand their team guided and informed students about the awareness of road safety.
