What is POSH Act, 2013?
The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 was enacted to ensure a safe and dignified working environment for women. It mandates that all organizations provide a mechanism for the redressal of complaints.
What is SHe-Box?
SHe-Box (Sexual Harassment electronic Box) is an online complaint management system launched by the Government of India.
It allows women to:

File complaints of sexual harassment at the workplace through the digital portal.

Track the status of your complaint in real-time.

Ensure timely action and redressal by the concerned authorities.
Who can file a complaint?:

Any woman (employee, student, intern, visitor).

Whether working in organized or unorganized sector.

Including contractual or temporary workers.
What constitutes Sexual Harassment?
Sexual harassment includes (but is not limited to):

Unwelcome physical contact or advances

Demand/request for sexual favors

Sexually colored remarks
-
Any unwelcome physical, verbal, or non-verbal conduct
Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)
As per POSH Act, every institution must have an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC).
Roles of ICC:

Unwelcome physical contact or advances

Demand/request for sexual favors

Sexually colored remarks

Any unwelcome physical, verbal, or non-verbal conduct
How to File a Complaint
You may choose any of the following methods to register your grievance:
