About the Program

The Department of Mechanical Engineering has been a cornerstone of the institution since its establishment in 2009. With an initial intake of 90 students for the undergraduate course (B.E.) and 12 students for the Post Graduate course (ME Mechanical - Design Engineering) in Mechanical Engineering, the department has consistently strived to provide quality education and practical training to its students. Department boasts a dedicated faculty, state-of-the-art facilities, and a rigorous curriculum designed to prepare students for a successful career in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
Our department fosters well-rounded students through a robust curriculum that integrates traditional academics with co-curricular, extra-curricular, and social outreach activities. Our well-equipped laboratories feature cutting-edge software used in industry, enabling students to develop practical skills in problem-solving, design, and complex issue investigation. This comprehensive approach ensures students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience, preparing them for successful careers in mechanical engineering.
We prioritize student engagement through activities such as SAE-BAJA, SAE-GO KART, SPIRITUA, and participation in technical and cultural competitions at both national and international levels. Additionally, we have active student chapters of professional organizations like ISTE, IE(I), and the Mechanical Engineering Student Association [MESA].
