The college hostel, situated within the campus, accommodates a total of 1107 students. Separate facilities are provided for girls and boys, with capacities of 460 and 647 respectively. Each room is equipped with comfortable furnishings including beds, desks, chairs, wardrobes, fan, and attached bathroom facilities. The hostel maintains a secure, tranquil, and well-regulated atmosphere. Regular free medical checkups are conducted in accordance with established guidelines. Additionally, our campus offers both indoor and outdoor sports amenities, encouraging students to uphold an active and healthy lifestyle.

Rules & Regulations 

  • Smoking tobacco, consuming liquor, gutka, or drugs is strictly forbidden.
  • Applications for admission will only be processed upon payment of hostel fees, mess charges, and caution money.
  • Students must provide a medical fitness certificate from their family doctor.
  • Authorities retain the right to enter and inspect rooms at any time.
  • It is the responsibility of all resident students to ensure that their allotted rooms remain free from damage, such as nail marks, scratches, or pencil marks.
  • Students are expected to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in their beds, rooms, and bathrooms.
  • Any student intending to take leave must apply to the Superintendent at least 24 hours in advance and must not depart without proper authorization.
  • Before leaving the institution for vacation, students must provide a detailed account of the items entrusted to them, and they will be held accountable for any loss or damage incurred.
  • Students must promptly inform the Superintendent if they or their roommates are unwell or suffering from any ailment.
  • Students are not permitted to disturb their roommates or neighboring rooms by any means.
  • Lights should be turned off when not in use; electricity is to be used solely for lighting purposes and not for heating appliances or stoves.
  • Students are required to adhere to the existing rules and any subsequent alterations or additions made to them.
  • Ragging is strictly prohibited, and students found guilty of insubordination, using inappropriate language, or engaging in misconduct may be expelled from the hostel.
  • Students are advised against keeping valuables, jewelry, or large sums of cash in their possession, as the hostel authority will not be held responsible for any losses.
  • Students must occupy the room assigned to them and are not allowed to change rooms without permission from the rector.
  • Visitors may meet residents at designated areas and are not permitted to enter the buildings unless authorized by the rector.
  • Permission from the competent authority is required for any outsider to stay with the students.
  • The management reserves the right to cancel admission or suspend a student in the event of misconduct, with no refund of fees in such circumstances.
  • Hostel residents are obligated to adhere to the evolving rules and regulations.
  • Once fees are paid, they are non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • The use of vehicles is permitted with parental consent.

 

Rules of Prohibiting Ragging

  1. “Ragging” means display of disorderly conduct, any act which causes or is likely to cause physical, psychological harm or raise apprehension or fear or shame, embarrassment to a student in any educational institution and includes:

a)Teasing, abusing, threatening or playing practical jokes and /or causing hurt to such student;

Or

  1. b) Asking a student to perform any act or do something which such student will not in the ordinary course willingly do.
  2. Prohibition of Ragging

Ragging within or outside of any educational institution is strictly prohibited.

  1. Penalty for ragging:

Whoever directly or indirectly commits, participates in, abets or propagates ragging within or outside any educational institute shall, on conviction, be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years and shall also be liable to a fine which may extend up-to Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only).

  1. Dismissal of Student:

Any student convicted of an offense under section 4 shall be dismissed from the educational institution and such student shall not be admitted in any other institution for a period of five years from the date of such dismissal.

  1. Suspension of student:

Whenever any student or, as the case may be, the parent or guardian or a teacher of an educational institution complains in writing of ragging to the head of the educational Institution, the head of that educational institution shall, without prejudice to the foregoing provision, within seven days of the receipt of the complaint, enquire into the matter mentioned in the complaint and if, prime facie, it is found true, suspend the student who is accused of the offense, and shall, immediately forward the complaint to the police station having jurisdiction over the area in which the educational institution is situated, for further action.

  1. Where, on enquiry by the head of the educational institution, it is proved that there is no substance, prime facie in the complaint received under sub-section (1), he shall intimate the fact, in writing, to the complainant.
  2. The decision of the head of the educational institution that the student has indulged in ragging under subsection (1), shall be final.
  3. Deemed abetment:

If the head of the educational institution fails or neglects to take the action in the manner specified in section 6 when a complaint of ragging is made, such person shall be deemed to have abetted the offence of ragging and shall, on conviction, be punished as provided for in section 4
