About Department

The Trinity College of Engineering and Research established the Department of Computer Engineering in the academic year 2008-09. The Department of Computer Engineering offers undergraduate ‘Bachelor of Engineering’ degree that covers the entire syllabus of the subject, with broad range of disciplines and skills in the world. A post-graduate course M.E. Computer intake of 24 seats is started from the year 2014 and 2015 respectively.

It is a four year degree course Affiliated to University of Pune, Maharashtra with a total intake of 150 students. Department of Computer Science is started with the objective of imparting quality education in the field of Computer Science, with rapidly evolving technology and the continuous need for innovation. These are exciting times for computer engineers as the discipline is now widely recognized as an essential source of tools and techniques for advancements in nearly all spheres of human endeavor.

The Department endeavors to provide best prefessional opportunities to our students and look forward to their bright future. We do not aim to make our students walking manuals of any language or package. Instead, they are given a strong foundation in computer science and problem-solving techniques and are made adaptable to changes inorder to make sucessful professionals in a dynamic global environment. Technology changes rapidly, especially in the field of computing, our understanding is that persons who are clear and thorough about the fundamentals can adapt to dynamic situations.

Hence we strive to ensure that all our students have strong education with teaming and leadership skills involment in student activities to make all round development. The future holds many challenges in diverse range of areas such as User Interfaces, Networks, Databases, Forecasting, World Wide Web Support, Mobile Communications, Satellite, Embedded Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Neural Networks and Many More. There are also unlimited career opportunities including Entrepreneurship in these exciting fields. We as team resolve to take the Deparment of Computer Science Trinity college of Engineering to heights of success and glory and prepare for forthcomming challenges.
