Eligibility Criteria:
  • Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the SSC (Std X) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with minimum 35% in Best of 5 aggregate.

  • For CBSE/ICSE Candidates:
  • In case the result of the candidate is given in terms of grades, such Candidates are required to submit the graded result into the equivalent marks authorized from the concerned institute /Board. Candidates passing SSC from other than State Boards or central Boards shall bring equivalent certificate from Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education.

  • Admission Process:

    All the rules are subject to changes from time –to –time as per directives of DTE

  • Admissions to the aspiring boys and girls candidates seeking to undertake Diploma Education shall strictly follow the rules and norms of admission.
  • The admissions will be strictly on the basis of merit.
  • 20% seat of intake is shortlisted at the Institute level and on the basis of merit
  • 80%seats of the institute of each course are filled in through the Centralized Admission Procedure ( CAP) Conducted by Directorate Of Technical Educatio ( DTE) through online submission procedure

  • Seats for OMS candidates:

    Centralized Admission Process (CAP Round) Admission process is conducted by DTE

  • No admission Test are conducted.
  • A student desiring admission , has to submit application form to ARC.
  • As per the schedule , the student has to give options for the choice of college and branch.
  • DTE then allots the College and Branch according to Merit & preference given by the student.
  • Allotment list is finally displayed on the web site
  • The student has to report to respective college with requisite fees original documents. Student has to fulfill all the formalities of Admission Process.

  • Admission at Institute Level:
  • An advertisement shall be placed in the leading newspapers.
  • Students desiring admission shall submit an application to the institute
  • Eligible students shall be admitted on the basis of their merit.
  • At the of admission students are required to pay requisite fees as prescribed by Shikshan Shulk Samiti and submit original documents of academic qualification and 4 passport size photographs.

  • Admission of outside State (OMS) Candidate in unaided Polytechnic:
  • If, after exhaustion of the general merit list of the candidates from Maharashtra State there are some seats vacant in the unaided polytechnic, the candidates from the other states and Union Territories may be considered by preparing a separate merit list of these candidates these admissions shall be done by the Principal, Trinity College of Engineering & Polytechnic, Pune
